This is the second sign I’ve ordered in the last couple of weeks. The first was damaged but I had no problem getting a replacement sent out at no extra cost. The second one I was disappointed with as the writing was not as expected and is not fit for purpose. I am not having much success at present at getting a replacement but am still hopeful, hence only 3 stars. I therefore have mixed feelings, as quality could be better but service to date has been good. Fingers crossed I can resolve the outstanding issue.

I purchased this sign with high hopes as previous aluminium sign had been great but this arrived with a scratch on it which I’m not happy with and won’t be able to use. We are due to open a new studio in 3 days and now won’t have a sign due to this. I’m surprised no one quality control checks these things before dispatch.

Transparent Acrylic Sign

The final product was amazing and my client loved it just as much as I did. This product was used for a bridal shower welcome sign. For testing purposes, I did have to order two samples in the smallest size - the transparent acrylic (with white ink background as an option) and the opal acrylic material as I found that there wasn’t enough example images displaying the differences between the two. For the artistic vision I had, the clear acrylic with the added layer of white ink background worked perfectly for the design I was working with. Throughout my queries, the Vista team were happy to help and provide further support where needed. I have suggested to VistaPrint, to help with consumers visualising products, they should consider incorporating real images, rather than computer/graphically generated images for examples so costumers are aware of what exactly they’ll be purchasing and outcomes. It would also be helpful that in reviews with pictures, vista print has a section where consumers can input specific details about their purchase order (size, material, colour underlay etc) to provide further support for those looking to purchase.

Frequently asked questions

Our acrylic signs are available in 3 mm or 5 mm thicknesses. The 3 mm option is best for lightweight indoor displays and small to medium signs. The 5 mm option is stronger and more rigid, ideal for medium to large signs and wall mounts.

No. You’ll need to specify that you want holes drilled into your sign. While we recommend them for display, we do recognise that some of our customers prefer a hole-free look, so we don’t drill by default.

On our largest sizes, A0 (84.1 x 118.9 cm) and B1 (70.7 x 100 cm), a total of 6 holes will be drilled — a hole in each corner, plus 2 in the middle. For other sizes, a total of 4 holes will be drilled – 1 in each corner.

We recommend occasionally cleaning the sign’s front with mild soap and water.

Before we package acrylic signs, we add a plastic layer for extra protection during the delivery process. The layer has a green tint to it — upon arrival, you can go ahead and remove the plastic.

Yes, you can input your dimensions when ordering.

Yes. White ink can be printed on acrylic signs. We recommend printing it on clear acrylic for maximum visibility.
