A branded envelope is an envelope that has a logo, company name or other branding elements printed on the outside. Branded envelopes help businesses build brand recognition while promoting their products or services. They also add a consistent look and a professional feel to everyday correspondence.
The logo is typically placed in the top left corner of the envelope, above or opposite the return address. This is because it is the most visible location when the envelope is face up in a stack or tray. However, you can place your logo anywhere you like, depending on the design of your personalised envelope and the specific look you’re going for.
We recommend following these tips to ensure your custom envelopes make a great first impression:
- Make sure your standard envelope size is the right fit for the documents you're sending.
- Use a seal or sticker to close your envelope. Try our customisable envelope seals for an additional touch of style.
- Add your logo or company name in the correct spot on your envelope. (Refer to above FAQ for more details.)
- Consider choosing a postage stamp that matches the theme of your envelope. For example, if you're sending out wedding invitations, use a stamp with wedding-style motifs.
We offer two paper stock options for our custom envelopes:
- Standard matte: 90 gsm white woodfree offset paper. It's lightweight and crisp, with a smooth, uncoated texture that's easy to write on.
- Premium matte: 120 gsm ivory paper. It's heavyweight and sturdy, with a slightly textured, luxurious feel.
Our paper is FSC® certified, which means it's sourced from healthy forests that are responsibly and sustainably managed.
Woodfree offset paper is known for its strength and durability, making it an excellent material for envelopes.
