You can place your children’s name labels on any smooth surface or material, including plastic, metal, silicone and paper. This means you can add them to pens and pencils, pencil cases, calculators, books, bottles, lunch boxes – the list goes on! Just make sure the surface is dry and free of dust, dirt and debris before applying them.
And while our name labels for kids are not intended to adhere directly to clothing material or any type of fabric, we do offer clothing stamps to help you get their name on any clothes they might wear to school.
Besides shoe labels, which are 30 x 30 mm in an arch shape made for shoes, we offer 4 different sizes of custom kids’ labels.
Our mini labels (30 x 10 mm) have room for a single name or initials and fit nicely on pens and pencils. Our small kids’ labels (48 x 9 mm) are a similar size but have more space for a surname or their class details. Medium personalised kids’ labels (48 x 20 mm) are great for books and bottles, while our largest size (40 x 40 mm circle or 48 x 48 mm square) offers plenty of space for a full name and any extra information you might need to add, like allergies or a contact number.
If you order the mini custom kids’ labels, we’d recommend adding either a first name or surname and the other initial, e.g. “Harry J” or “H. Johnson” due to the limited space. Our small and medium kids’ name labels will accommodate a full name and our largest size can fit extra information like their school or class details, or a contact phone number if you’re comfortable sharing that information.
Yes, our labels are waterproof and dishwasher-safe. If you are hand-washing the labels, avoid using scourers, steel wool or scrubbing brushes, as they will damage the label and adhesive. Instead, use a soft cloth or sponge to keep your kids’ labels stuck down for as long as possible.
PVC-free means that our labels do not contain polyvinyl chloride. Polyvinyl chloride, or PVC for short, is a type of plastic that can be harmful to both your little ones and the environment. By opting for PVC-free products, you can help reduce your and your child’s exposure to toxic chemicals like phthalates, vinyl chloride and more.
