Second clothing purchase, second disappointment

I ordered some Tshirts a while back, cheaper ones so really did not moan too much. These were higher price, so I expected a decent quality product - nice looking t shirt, material feels soft and nice to wear - problem is they are really short (same issue on first product we tried, different item to these). I am a medium / very average body size, easy to buy clothing - this shirt came to my waistline (just) same on my son, who is the same size (M) but different build to me. Then the big issue - wash them and they just shrink - short to start with, now it's a crop top - not the look I am going for. Second time I have tried clothing, will not again, just size and shrinkage makes these head straight in the bin :(
