Easy to use website but image was off

I had tried so many different business card websites, all of them were overly complicated and made inputting my design way too hard. I overheard somebody talking about having hemp business cards, that appealed to me! I searched online and this was the first website that came up. The process was smooth and simple and my design looked perfectly placed. I purchased a hundred cards. While the quality of the paper is great, and the website is simple, when my cards arrived, my image was ever so slightly off center. Nothing was missing, but some of the design was so close to the edge that it was almost off the card. This might not bother some people, but as someone who took the time to center everything and make sure there was a pleasing to the eye amount of space around my design, it was disappointing that the cards did not match the final. image on the website. I wondered if I had messed up so checked my design and I had not. Not quite sure how this happens, when the final image shows what I want, the the finished product comes out differently. 3 stars for ease of use and for using hemp, but disappointed in final product.

Our hemp paper business cards are made from a blend of hemp and other fibres: 30% hemp, 30% post-consumer recycled paper and 40% responsibly forested wood fibre.

There’s a lot to like about hemp! It’s a fast-growing crop that can grow from a seed to a plant in just 90 days. It needs fewer resources to grow (less land, water, energy and chemicals) and absorbs carbon. Additionally, hemp fibres are longer than wood fibres, which makes it more resistant to wear and tear.

No, it’s not. Hemp and marijuana are both cannabis, but they contain different amounts of the tetrahydrocannabinol chemical, more commonly known as THC. Hemp contains small traces of THC — 0.3% or less by dry weight. Marijuana has a higher THC amount. Since our hemp paper stock is a blend of hemp, recycled paper and wood fibre, there are only slight traces of THC — nearly none.

This cardstock is 325 gsm.

Yes, compared to wood-based papers. Hemp fibres are longer than typical wood fibres, making the paper less likely to yellow, tear or deteriorate. Please note that these fibres are also visible — they add a light speckling effect to your card.
