When you're setting up Economy or Standard pull-up banners, make sure to turn the stabilising foot (or feet) on the base perpendicular to the cassette.
There are several key ways you can make sure your pop-up banner is clear, legible and effective:
- Use large fonts and images so people can see your banner from a distance.
- Contrast your background and text colours to ensure clear readability.
- Focus on one main message that people can quickly understand.
- Keep your safety margins in mind as you design. (See the Specs & Templates tab for details on these important measurements.)

No, sorry, we don't offer replacement banners on their own.
Here are a few other tips before getting started:
- Don’t try to pull the banner further than the height of the pole, otherwise you may damage the retraction mechanism.
- Pull your banner straight up from the centre using two hands.
- When connecting the pole pieces for the standard style, find the round part inside the hole and stick the pole into it to make sure the banner stands straight.
- When retracting the banner back into its cassette, do not drop the banner from a height. Guide it gently back into the cassette so that it retracts correctly inside.
If you want to create a pull-up banner using an existing design, simply click on “Upload design” under the product specs and attach a file from your device. We’ll then import it into your Design Studio, where you can make further tweaks – add more text, images, QR codes and more.
