If you select a bi-fold, tri-fold or Z-fold, the size you see refers to the size of the paper after it’s been folded. For example, a DL (99 x 210 mm) leaflet with a tri-fold option is an A4 (297 x 210 mm) sheet folded to a DL to create a total of 6 printable sections (3 per side).

Depending on the size and fold of your business flyers and leaflets, you may be able to choose from the following paper stocks and weights:

Glossy: Budget (130 gsm), standard (170 gsm), premium (250 gsm) or premium plus (400 gsm).

Matte: Economy (90 gsm), budget (130 gsm), standard (170 gsm), premium (250 gsm) or premium plus (400 gsm).

Recycled: Premium (270 gsm).

Soft Touch: Premium (300 gsm) only available on A3 flat, A5 flat, A6 flat, A5 bi-fold, DL bi-fold and DL tri-fold options.

In printing, gsm (grams per square metre) is used to measure paper density and thickness. Generally speaking, a higher gsm indicates a thicker paper. That said, there are other factors that can affect the look and feel of a paper, from paper finishes to where and how the paper was produced.
