Advertising Flags

All our custom flags are made from synthetic polyester, derived from post-consumer recycled materials and classified as B1 fire retardant. The flag poles in our self-standing advertising flags are mostly made from fibreglass with some aluminium components. They also have a plastic hook to secure the flag to the pole. The flag poles and wall attachments for our classic and wall-mounted flags are made from aluminium, and the frames for our arch flags are made from fibreglass.

Yes. You can choose between single or double-sided printing options on all but our classic flags. Single-sided flags are more translucent, which lets the flag design (and sunlight) shine through. Our more opaque, double-sided flags feature an additional layer of polyester between the 2 printed sides. This makes for tougher flags with more vibrant colours.

If you’re advertising on high streets with limited pavement space or high foot traffic, we recommend classic hanging flags or kiosk flags. Our self-standing custom advertising flags are better when more floor space is available. They use floor bases instead of wall-piercing mounts, so you can reposition them whenever you want. They’re great attention grabbers outdoors or in busy event spaces. Feather flags are our sleekest option, ideal for longer logos, while our teardrop flags are our most wind-resistant and also nicely complement round logos. Our sail flags are the more traditional option, offering lots of space for designs on a classic shape, and our rectangular flags offer the most printing space and are best if you have full messages to share. Our arch flags are an excellent choice if you’re hosting an outdoor event like a fun run and need a meeting or starting point, while also making great backdrops for photo ops.

Custom standing flags are designed to grab attention and stand out from afar, so generally bigger is better. Our largest flags are designed with events and trade shows in mind, but our smaller sizes will do just as well when not competing for attention in over-crowded areas. They’re also lighter and more portable. If you choose a larger flag, we highly recommend the steel square base to help keep the flag weighed down.
