I was very impressed with the support I received to ensure the artwork was correct before going to print, and delighted with the quality of the finished print job. The Vistaprint team went above and beyond to help ensure the best outcome for me.

Quality at its highest

I ordered a number of products after being let down by a local supplier, and I really did believe that because the cost was a fraction of that of my normal supplier the quality would be far less. How wrong was I. the quality when my products arrive were on par and possibly even better. Well done I shall be sure to put my business with Vistaprint in future

Came out looking great, i did include a review cost for this but no one reached out as i did find out that some text were typed over the watermark at the bottom so looked a bit out of place for some pages, this would have been reviewed with me before printing.

Frequently asked questions

Yes — for a successful print, we recommend following these design tips and upload specifications.

Format: Your file needs to be in PDF format — without password protection.

Layout: Your file should include single pages, each arranged in the correct reading order. Make sure your file includes all of your pages — including four cover pages.

Blank Pages: If you want blank inside cover pages, make sure you include blank pages within your PDF file.

Colours: Stapled booklets are printed in CMYK. Images provided in RGB or PANTONE colours will be converted.

Resolution: 300 dpi (dots per inch) is the required resolution for stapled booklets. Lower resolutions may affect the printing quality.

Bleeds: For an accurate print, include a 3 mm bleed on every side of every page. If you encounter file upload issues, double-check your bleed — it may exceed the accepted ±0.25 threshold.

Margins: Keep all text at least 1 cm from the margins. Anything closer may be too close to the edge (or the binding) to easily read.

Staple binding is a style that uses 2 metal staples to turn individual pieces of paper into a cohesive booklet. Since the staples are placed down the centre of the papers, each piece of paper becomes 4 booklet pages.

Stapled booklets are a popular choice for an assortment of projects or business needs — we particularly recommend them for price lists, product catalogues, event programmes, brochures, pamphlets and magazines. They may also work well for restaurants or cafes in need of longer, more detailed menus.

Your stapled booklets can include 8–84 pages — this includes 4 cover pages (front cover, inside front cover, back cover and inside back cover). For example, an 8-page booklet = 4 cover pages + 4 inside pages. You can increase or decrease a stapled booklet’s page count in increments of 4: 12 pages, 16 pages, 20 pages, etc.

No, you’re not required to — you’ll just need to include blank pages in your print-ready PDF. But if you’d like to utilise all the space and add content to all 4 cover pages, you’re welcome to do that, too.

The cover paper for your stapled booklets will be laminated — they help protect booklets from wear and are a great way to show off your cover design. Our laminated covers are available in matte or glossy. You can select the same cover thickness as your internal pages, or go with a 300 gsm option for sturdier covers.

Sample booklets are not available, but you can order a single booklet. This is a great way to see how your printed booklet looks before you order a larger amount.
