I recently had a friend draw some of us students at a TKD club to put into a canvas. I played around with options and decided to try a metal poster instead. I am glad I took the risk as it looks amazing. The poster is not heavy so can hang on a wall easily and the delivery was so fast, even on the standard option. The quality is so impressive I am looking for more pictures I can turn into a metal poster.

Each print consists of two layers of aluminium, with a solid plastic core in the middle. We print your image directly onto the top metal layer, which has a white coating on it. The coating is designed to show off colours and to give the print a semi-matte finish.
Aluminium prints offer a sleek and modern appearance, made from a thick sheet of aluminium which offers texture and durability — and makes them resistant to fading and moisture. Acrylic prints are durable as well, even shatter-resistant, but are made from glossy acrylic material and feature bevelled edges which provide a 3D effect. Canvas prints, on the other hand, are made from fabric stretched over a wooden frame, giving them a more classic and textured look. They have a softer, more organic feel compared to the sleekness of aluminium and the high-gloss finish of acrylic.
Yes. However, it's important to note that a frame is not necessary as the material of our aluminium prints is already rigid and durable. Plus, aluminium photo prints have a unique texture and finish that adds depth and dimension to the image, making it an attractive stand-alone piece.
We recommend you use adhesive hanging strips — they’re durable, easy to use and will keep your metal print flush against the wall. Make sure you’re using enough strips to support the weight of your art.
It depends on the size of your print. For context, our A1 print (594 x 841 mm) weighs approximately 2 kg.
We recommend wiping the front of your print with a mircofibre or lint-free cloth to remove dust. If you need to remove a stain from the print’s surface, streak-free glass cleaner is a mild and effective option.
Yes. Aluminium prints are completely waterproof, making them suitable for outdoor spaces, bathrooms and basements.
Under normal conditions with some sunlight exposure, your aluminium print will not fade.
Before we package your aluminium picture, we add a plastic layer for extra protection during the delivery process. The layer has a green tint to it — upon arrival, you can go ahead and remove the plastic.
