the coasters are ok but not protected against water and are therefore not washable. they should be treated as single use / disposable. ( made from cardboard ) so for the price this is quite an expensive disposable single use coaster. I will laminate them to make them more long lasting.

As stated on our website, our beer mats are made of 1.5 mm cardboard; this specific material is designed to help protect tabletops and bar surfaces, works well with hot and cold beverages, and is engineered to absorb liquid from condensation or minor spills. Because they are paper-based for maximum absorption, we recommend using them for light use, and we advise against submerging them in water or using harsh cleaning chemicals. While we understand your plan to laminate them, please note that doing so may reduce their ability to absorb condensation effectively. I should say that the product was excellent. However, I ordered 3 weeks before I needed the item (for an event). Order status changed to ‘production delayed’ only days before estimated delivery. That would have been fine if someone had e-mailed me to confirm new delivery date. Instead I had to contact VistaPrint several times for updates, is it really that hard to contact the customer when things go wrong? Unfortunately if I need something by a specific date I’ll go elsewhere as this was far too stressful.
