Frequently asked questions
Our snap frames are weatherproof but not waterproof, so they work well outdoors as long as they're placed under a shelter or covered area. This applies to all snap frame sizes. For fully exposed outdoor use, we recommend a different display solution.
All 4 edges are spring-loaded, so you don't need to remove the frame from the wall to swap your poster. Simply flip each rail outwards from the front, insert your poster and the protective cover, then snap the rails shut.
Yes. Everything you need to mount your frame is included in the box: 4 screws and plastic wall anchors. See the product images for a full look at what's in the package.
Smaller frames (A4 and A3) are light enough to be mounted with high-strength adhesive strips. Larger frames (A1 and A0) typically require screws due to the weight of the aluminium profile.
The frame is made of anodised aluminium. The protective cover is made of PET, an anti-glare sheet designed to reduce light reflections.
The UV-stabilised anti-glare cover is designed to reduce fading and reflections, making it a good option for displays with long or repeated exposure to light.
Around 8 mm of the poster edge may sit under the frame rails. We recommend keeping all key design elements and text away from the edges of your poster to avoid any cropping.
Use a soft, damp cloth for both. Avoid harsh chemical cleaners on the PET cover, as they can cause clouding or micro-scratches over time.
This can happen if there's dust or grit in the spring-tension clip, or if the frame was mounted too tightly against an uneven wall. Try pressing outwards and upwards from the inner edge of the rail using the pads of both thumbs at the same time. For a step-by-step walkthrough, our instruction video is coming soon.
