Our paper stocks range from economy (90 gsm) to premium options (up to 400 gsm), measured in grams per square metre – higher numbers mean thicker, more durable stock. Choose from glossy, matte, recycled or soft-touch finishes depending on the look you want and how you plan to distribute. Select from multiple sizes to suit your use case – larger formats work for posters and displays, while compact DL sizes slip easily into pockets and mailings. You'll design either using our customisable templates or by uploading your own file. Single or double-sided printing, flat or folded leaflets – you control every detail.

If you select a bi-fold, tri-fold or Z-fold, the size you see refers to the size of the paper after it’s been folded. For example, a DL (99 x 210 mm) leaflet with a tri-fold option is an A4 (297 x 210 mm) sheet folded to a DL to create a total of 6 printable sections (3 per side).

Depending on the size and fold of your business flyers and leaflets, you may be able to choose from the following paper stocks and weights:
Glossy: Budget (130 gsm), standard (170 gsm), premium (250 gsm) or premium plus (400 gsm).
Matte: Economy (90 gsm), budget (130 gsm), standard (170 gsm), premium (250 gsm) or premium plus (400 gsm).
Recycled: Premium (270 gsm).
Soft Touch: Premium (300 gsm) only available on A3 flat, A5 flat, A6 flat, A5 bi-fold, DL bi-fold and DL tri-fold options.
In printing, gsm (grams per square metre) is used to measure paper density and thickness. Generally speaking, a higher gsm indicates a thicker paper. That said, there are other factors that can affect the look and feel of a paper, from paper finishes to where and how the paper was produced.
Our A4 and DL sizes come with the option to add a clear leaflet holder to your order (sold separately). Made of durable, 2.5 mm-thick PVC, our holders are well-suited for tables or countertop displays.
Leaflets are sometimes referred to as folded leaflets, somewhat sturdier versions of flyers, though the terms are mostly used interchangeably nowadays. At VistaPrint, the choice of paper quality and fold type is all yours – whatever you decide to call them.
