However, if you’re trying to draw attention to your shopfront or get noticed, we recommend you pick the extra thick 510 gsm vinyl and pair it with banner reinforcement and eyelets. This will make sure your vinyl sign is better suited for outdoor use and that your design will stay looking sharp day after day.

Q: How much will my vinyl banner weigh?
A: The weight of your banner will vary by size, material (indoor or outdoor) and whether you add eyelets which weigh 2.27g each. Here are a few examples of weight by banner size, material (indoor and outdoor) and with eyelets included:
• 52 x 91 cm: 0.21 kg with indoor vinyl, 0.22 kg with outdoor vinyl
• 76 x 183 cm: 0.66 kg with indoor vinyl, 0.72 kg with outdoor vinyl
• 76 x 366 cm: 1.23 kg with indoor vinyl, 1.30 kg with outdoor vinyl
• 122 x 244 cm: 1.37 kg with indoor vinyl, 1.72 kg with outdoor vinyl
Q: Will my banner come with eyelets included?
A: No, but eyelets are highly recommended for a secure, reinforced hold whether you’re using rope, zip ties or a stand. If you’re planning on hanging your banner outside, our 1.27 cm metal eyelets are important for an easy, long-lasting display. The reason they’re not included in your order by default is that some of our display options, such as our H and L banner stands, do not require eyelets. So, make sure to select eyelets if you need them.
Q: If I want eyelets, how many will I need?
A: The number of eyelets varies by banner size. If your banner is sized:
• 25 x 50 cm, 52 x 91 cm, 76 x 122 cm or 122 x 122 cm: 4-8 eyelets
• 76 x 183 cm or 122 x 183 cm: 6-8 eyelets
• 76 x 244 cm: 8 eyelets
• 150 x 200 cm: 10 eyelets
• 76 x 305 cm or 122 x 244 cm: 12 eyelets
• 76 x 366 cm: 14 eyelets
• 150 x 300 cm: 16 eyelets
• 200 x 300 cm, 150 x 400 cm: 18 eyelets
• 200 x 400 cm: 20 eyelets
Q: What is edge reinforcement?
A: Our heat-welding process reinforces the edges of your banner, making it better suited for outdoor and long-term use. We recommend both banner reinforcement and eyelets if you intend to hang your banner outside for a long time.
Q: Can I get full-bleed printing on my vinyl banner?
A: Absolutely. We offer full-bleed and full-colour vinyl banner printing.
Q: Can I order a custom banner size?
A: No. But given our wide range of sizes, there’s a very good chance that we have existing options that will match your needs.
Q: If I see creases on my banner, how do I remove them?
A: Creases should smooth out over time. But if you need to speed up the process, place your vinyl banner under a heavy flat object, that will help creases come out. To avoid creasing while storing, we recommend you don’t put anything on top of the banner. We also recommend you wash your hands every time you handle the banner.
Q: Will my banner be fireproof?
A: Yes. Our vinyl banners are NFPA-701 certified.
